Just Hanging Out at Home

Here we are teaching Olivia how to play Candyland. She did pretty good with it. Maybe this will be the start of a family board game night!

A tribute to The Little Gym!

We have been going to The Little Gym (in knightdale) for about a year and a half and have loved every minute of it. This has been our weekly family time and have come to be great friends with the other parents, kids and instructors/owner. We received some sad news about a month ago. Our Little Gym was closing! :( They are going out of business. Now we need to figure out what else to do with Olivia to continue her activities. There are other TLG's, but the one we'd go to instead is already full. So we'll let you know when we find a new home to play at!

This past weekend was the last day of her semester, and our last day at *our* Little Gym. Here are lots of pictures and videos:

We are very sad to see the end of our special time at The Little Gym, but look forward to the next chapter once we find a new place to enjoy.

Birthday Parties and Get-Togethers

We have been to a lot of birthday parties and get-togethers lately. Our weekends have been very busy! A couple weekends ago we had Gracie's 3rd Birthday party at The Little Gym. The little ones all had a great time. Here are some pictures:

Then that Monday was MLK day and all of our day cares were closed, so me and the craft girls decided to meet up at the mall for some lunch and to hit Archivers (Scrapbooking store). This was the first time that we had ALL the little ones together (Gracie, Olivia, Austin, Chloe and Ian).

This past weekend we were VERY busy on Saturday! We had the Little Gym in the morning (see next blog entry), then we headed over to Reese's 2nd birthday party - then I had to leave early to head to a baby shower for a good friend of mine.

Reese's party was at the bowling alley and Olivia got to go bowling for the first time. She had a lot of fun - but will probably need some lessons from Papa before we can call her a "bowler" - ha ha! Here are some pictures and videos from the party:

I had to leave early to head to the baby shower, but Grant stayed behind with Olivia at the party to hit the game room with everyone. There was a big slide and a roller coaster type ride and from what I hear, they had a great time!

It has been busy lately, but a lot of fun, too! We have really enjoyed seeing so many of our good friends lately.
