Hello everyone! Well, baby Olivia is now 4 months old and she is learning something new every day! We are working on learning how to sit up, still have a long way to go, but she can prop herself up with her hands a little bit now. Here's a video of us *attempting* sitting up for the first time:
Olivia has also started squealing and screaming (sometimes at the top of her little baby lungs!) for absolutely no other reason than to hear herself. Here's a snippit of her getting all excited screaming and kicking:
We still cannot get her to giggle again - I am sooo glad we caught it on video since she won't do it again. Tonight I got her pretty close, but she was mostly just excited and screaming at her reflection - not really laughing! Oh-well, maybe next time.
Here are a few pictures for you all to see how big she is getting:
She's pretty smiley these days - what a sweetie!
Sleepy little girl!
Here she is on her 4-Month Birthday!
Well, little Olivia got sick this past week. We had my friends over to scrapbook Sunday and Randy and Gracie came over with Sara to hang out with Grant and Olivia. Olivia was pretty fussy that whole day and wouldn't eat much. Sara noticed her pulling on her ear and we started to worry that she was getting an ear infection since Grant had a ton of them when he was little. Well, I called the doctor on Monday and they wanted me to bring her in to check it out. Turns out it wasn't an ear infection (thank goodness!), but she did have a little virus. Apparently she had some sores on her throat that made it hurt to swallow and that's why she wouldn't eat. Fortunatley we just had to give her some tylenol for a few days to get rid of it. Once we started doing that, she was back to her little piggy self! Yeah! (by the way, she weighed 14 lbs 12 oz with her clothes on at the doctor's office. The little piggy had gained more than 3 lbs since her last appt!)
Here's a video we took of her when she was passing out after her last bottle of the night. She is always pretty pitiful when it gets close to bedtime - but isn't she just the cutest?!?!
Here's another video of her first thing in the morning. Whenever we get her in the morning, she always gets this big smile on her face when she sees us and holds out her arms for us to come and get her. We always love seeing her first thing in the morning!
Ok, well hopefully all the pics and videos will make up for me not blogging in a while. My project at work is running me ragged and I've been home doing work every night for the last 2-3 weeks so, I don't have very much free time anymore. This project should be over in the middle of december, hopefully I'll make it that long without going crazy! Anyway, I hope everyone is doing well.
