Evening with the Elves

Hello again! Ok, so we are now onto this past weekend - Friday night to be exact. Well, the Marbles Kids Museum here in Raleigh had a neat event called "An Evening with the Elves" this past Friday night that we went to. Our friends, Randy, Sara and Gracie also went (as well as my boss and his family). They had music and fun festive stuff for the kids to do.


Here we are having dinner when we first go there:





Poor Gracie didn't get a good nap that day and was pretty crummy when they first go there, so I was holding her so Randy and Sara could eat. Isn't she being so sweet?!!?



The girls loved running around playing with everything in the museum and dancing to the live band they had there.

They even had REAL SNOW outside for the event. Here's Olivia all bundled up checking out the snow. We didn't stay out too long as it was VERY cold that night and some of the older kids had started a snowball fight.

We even got to get our Elf Names from the event. Here are our names:

Olivia: Quirkle SmirkyKinz

Sherry: Pinky Sunnysockz

Grant: Buttons Gigglywigz

We even got name tags to decorate with our new elf names (and got covered in glitter for the rest of the night!). Here's Olivia trying on a tu-tu with her Elf Name tag on:

Olivia really enjoyed herself at the museum running around everywhere non-stop. She wore herself out so much that she fell asleep in the car before I even got out of my parking space! I wish I could say that we got to go home, go to bed and that was the end of our night - but our night was far from over! You'll have to check out my next post to see what sort of crazy-ness followed!
