What a week it has been! Wow! We had so much fun in Disney World that it is going to take a while to recover from all the excitement! Olivia had a blast and was so much fun to watch running around when we were there. Her favorite parts were all the parades where she could see her "friends" (Characters), and meeting the characters one on one. I have so many pictures and videos that I'm going to break up my blog entries by day - and we were there for 8 days, so bear with me! I tried to trim down the quantity of pictures and videos to the ones mainly showing Olivia and us and not so much with just the stuff we saw while we were there - or I'd never get it all on here!
So . . . on to day 1:
We left on Saturday, the 26th early in the morning. We had a nice flight with Southwest and Olivia had a good time *helping* the plane get off the ground . . . check out the video:
When we got there, they were having one of their shows outside of the castle. Here is Olivia watch from Daddy's shoulders:
Of course we had to ride the Small World ride first thing so that we could get that lovely song stuck in our heads for the ENTIRE day! ha ha!
At 3:00 it was parade time. We managed to get a pretty good seat and were surprised at how much Olivia LOVED the parades! She waved at all her "friends" until her little arm looked like it was going to fall off. It was so cute! Every time a new character was coming up, she'd point and yell who it was and get all excited. She was great entertainment for us and everyone around us!
I have some better pictures and videos of her Parade-Watching from later in the week, so stay tuned! Our fist day was long, but fun! Olivia fell asleep before we even got back to the hotel and didn't budge when we put her jammies on and put her to bed! It was a good day!
